Are you interested to work within the Pharmacovigilance Department at the European R&D Headquarter for one of the world’s foremost pharmaceutical companies? We are looking for a PV Scientist for this company!

The Role and your Responsibilities
The European R&D Headquarter for one of the world’s foremost pharmaceutical companies is looking for a PV Scientist. The job is situated within the Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance Department of the company. In this role you will report tot the Senior PV Scientist. You will co-operate both with direct colleagues as with colleagues globally. You will contribute to all safety tasks of the assigned products.

Purpose of the position
-Contribution to all safety tasks of assigned products
o Safety Evaluation of Adverse Events reports
o Risk management
o Signal detection
o Creation of periodic and ad hoc Pharmacovigilance (PV) documents
o PV input in relevant documents (esp. other depts.)
o Providing PV/Therapeutic Area input in meetings/projects
o Communication of PV aspects to all concerned (internal/external) parties
o Support in PV inspections/audits

Functie eisen

What is Required
-University Education: Biomedical Sciences or comparable
-1-2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry (particularly in pharmacovigilance preferred)
-Excellent Communication Skills
